The political, economic as well as the military power of the Union was comparatively more than that of the confederacy. Moreover, that war did sustain for consecutively four years. The confederacy further proved that itself completely resilient on several occasions. Allthoughout the war the wave constantly drifted and alongside that so did the political, economic as well as the military power of both the side were already indulged into the war. Although, each side had its complete share of military success but finally, in the end it was found that the larger Northern economy consolidated the government alongside the overwhelming manpower which gradually led to the victory.
